The Path Train How do all those commuters get from Hoboken Terminal to Manhattan? They take the Hudson Tubes (that's what they used to be called when the Path System was the Hudson and Manhattan railroad). For one dollar, the Path Train will take you to the World Trade Center, or up to 33rd Street, with stops at Christopher Street in the Village, 9th Street, 14th Street and 23rd Street. All stops except Christopher Street on the 33rd Street line are on 6th Avenue.
New York Waterway provides ferry service to and from various points in Manhattan and the surrounding area. Take the Ferry from Hoboken Terminal to the Financial District in lower Manhattan.
Newark Airport Connection Did you know that for modest sum you can take a train from Penn Station to Newark Airport? You can also take the Path Train to Newark Penn Station and connect to Newark Airport? This is a great way to get to the airport if you are travelling relatively light.
Amtrak Intercity Rail Service Take the train all the way to Boston or Washington DC! Nationwide service is available.
Short Line Bus Company to my knowledge Short Line bus company does not offer any connecting service to or from the Port Jervis or Pascack Valley lines. Occasionally, however, connections are possible.
Southern California Metrolink See how the other half lives. Metrolink has what it takes to get Southern Californians out of their cars. I recently read that Metrolink has successfully captured eight percent of the commuter traffic in the greater Los Angeles area.
